Simply Frogg, Simply Suckered Walmart Got Me Again! Walmart got me again. I went in for a few quick items and wound up spending $95 and change. "How did that happen?" I asked myself as I slid my card through the machine at the checkout counter. Despite having kept accurate track of a running total in my head while cruising the aisles and tossing items into my cart as they caught my fancy, the reality of that $95 and change total had not set in fully, I guess. As I sauntered towards the exit, I unfolded the mile long register tape in my hand and glanced over the seemingly endless list of things I had just purchased. Nothing looked out of place and nothing looked overpriced. It all looked… normal. It all looked… right. Upon realizing that I, and not Walmart, had emptied my bank account in exchange for the contents of the cart in front of me, I paused to reflect on this moment and mumble, "What the fuck was I thinking?" No sooner had those words slipped from my mouth than I took notice of all the other "Walmart Victims" standing all around me doing exactly as I had just done, and exactly what I planned to do, which was hide my head in shame as I passed the Walmart Exit Greeter.
