Bully Won Staff's Choice...
at "The Money" and Advanced
in the East Coast Showcase
Blakk Frogg went out recently for a leisurely motorcycle ride with a buddy of his one Sunday night and had the distinct pleasure of running into an all female band called Bully at one of his favorite Rock Hill, SC hangouts: The Money.
Taken back by the sound, Blakk Frogg could not turn a deaf ear as he typically does when some bands try to make it big at the East Coast Showcase. Nope. Blakk Frogg had no choice but to stop and take notice of their original sound.
THE EQUATION: Strong vocals and stage presence from Anita + intensely melodic lead guitar and supporting vocals from Teresa + a deep, involving bass track laid down by Marty who also graces their style with her vocals + passionate percussion pounded out by Beverly = a band you need to check out. Do not question a Frogg's math!
So, class, what have we learned today? If you have to ask, get off Blakk Frogg's website. No one with your intelligence should have gotten in here anyways. Gonna' have to chastise Security over this incident.
Go see Bully when they come back to East Coast Showcase or anywhen they play ANYwhere, for that matter. Show your face or Blakk Frogg will remove it with a blowtorch... Hostel style!
